Maintenance Technician – HVAC & Facilities

Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | Occasional On-Call Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Maintain,troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and mechanical systems, including heatingsystems, boilers, refrigeration, ventilation, air handlers, thermostats, andcontrols
  • Performroutine preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment, building systems, andmechanical components to support safe and efficient operations
  • Troubleshootand complete repairs involving plumbing, lighting, equipment, and other generalmaintenance needs
  • Inspect,maintain, and repair pumps, motors, belts, and other mechanical equipment
  • Maintainbuilding water systems and help ensure facility systems operate properly
  • Setup, test, troubleshoot, and repair facility and resident equipment
  • Respondto maintenance requests and work orders, prioritizing repairs and completingtasks in a timely manner
  • Identifypotential equipment or building system issues and take appropriate steps tomaintain safety and reliability
  • Helpkeep Cedar Community’s buildings, equipment, and mechanical systems safe,functional, and comfortable for residents and team members
  • Followestablished safety practices and maintenance procedures while completingassigned work
  • Respondto on-call responsibilities as needed to support facility operations
  • Performother duties and special projects as assigned

What You'll Need

  • One totwo years of related maintenance, facilities, HVAC, or mechanical experiencepreferred
  • Knowledgeof commercial HVAC systems, including heating, boilers, refrigeration,ventilation, air handlers, thermostats, and controls
  • Workingknowledge of pumps, motors, belts, and other mechanical components
  • Abilityto perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems and mechanical equipment
  • Troubleshootingand problem-solving skills to diagnose equipment issues and complete repairs
  • Generalmaintenance knowledge, including plumbing, lighting, building systems, andequipment repairs
  • ValidWisconsin driver's license required
  • Strongattention to detail and commitment to safety, quality, and reliable facilityoperations
  • Abilityto work independently, manage multiple maintenance priorities, and collaboratewith team members
  • Willingnessto participate in on-call responsibilities as needed
