Under the Automated Information System (AIS) and eCommerce Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract, Ms. Meeker successfully tracked every deliverable and detail for password  change operations,  troubleshooting,  and maintenance for 58 computer systems under high-risk circumstances due to drastic budget cuts. She created a SharePoint site used to help management oversees those projects. She maintains and uploads new and modified documents to that SharePoint site. Ms. Meeker implemented a new organizational system on a different SharePoint site to organize weekly status reports, to make sure that all weekly status reports resided in a central location for configuration management and

 

document access. She led the effort in creating a master folder for documentation and gathering missing high-level documents related to process and infrastructure for one major system. In addition to those task, Ms. Meeker introduces and implements new standards by creating resource documents whose effects are long-lasting and influence the future course of the company, such as a style guide, template, acronym list, organizational chart, email group, etc. She records meeting minutes for task order meetings with high-level management and the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). Ms. Meeker writes, edits, rewrites, and reviews manuals and related technical publications in clear and concise Standard American English (SAE) for five contracts with a combined value of approximately $131,100 total.

Navy Chief of Information (CHINFO) Media Monitoring Highlights:

  • Briefed the Admiral who served as the Chief of Naval Media and Media Monitoring Task Order (TO) Lead
  • Reviewed, analyzed, and compiled current events reports for more than 8,412-12,000 Navy personnel
  • Served at a senior technical writer level and reported findings to upper-level management
  • Collected current published and broadcast reports by news media and assembled into CHINFO News Clips to be published every Monday through Friday early morning for organizational awareness of news coverage.

 

PEO LCS oversees six program offices; she has supported all of them during her career as required. She has the complete trust and confidence of the entire staff of the primary office she supports (PMS 420), as well as the remaining five offices. Ms. Meeker edits plans, reports, and other documents from the program management office she supports primarily (PMS

420). She serves as senior technical writer, grammar specialist, document coordinator, and chief compiler of several reports, plans, and other documentation from PMS 420. When team members struggled with meeting deadlines, it was her idea to use team performance metrics as positive incentive. When team members struggled to find key documents, she created a SharePoint site to assist with status reports. This, and other additions to the SharePoint site, improved continuity, business communications, and product quality across the entire PMS 420 program. She also coordinated logistics for successful reviews and status meetings. When working within condensed timelines, Ms. Meeker is aware of the relationships between cost, schedule, and performance as it impacts programs. The above accomplishments contributed to program meeting timelines while staying within target costs. She makes sure that the team communicates financial issues to management in a clear and concise manner and that she communicates financial issues to the team for reports and meetings. Department of Veterans Affairs Support (VA) – National Information (IT) Training Academy (NTA) (Last Primary Client) She supervised a changing group of two to four interns in creating substantial and complex instructional materials for multiple one-week courses for her client. Her team executed this task from start to finish and delivered on time despite a compressed schedule. She helped her team develop performance areas and standards for client staff and successfully helped her team provide training to the Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA’s) Learning Management System (LMS) on schedule and supported her team in the goal of training client staff within budget on a $22 million contract. In terms of internal support, Ms. Meeker showed initiative by spearheading the creation of a mentoring program within her team as the Sourcing and Recruiting Lead for the Civil Board Diversity Initiative (BDI).

Ms. Meeker served as third in command and was instrumental to the success of the workshop and banquet by facilitating meetings, keeping track of all actions and adjudications, coordinating 50 high-level government and industry employees, and helping with time-critical logistics for an organization that worked within a $60-80K budget. She managed the meeting process by collecting team member contact information, informing the team of meeting logistics, formulating the agenda, facilitating meetings by allocating time for discussion, recording action items, allowing ample time for review and comment of the meeting minutes, and publishing meeting minutes. She created AAGEN’s professional annual workshop and banquet program book and compiled congressional letters, ads, biographies, logos, etc. The event was attended by the Vice Chief of Naval Operations, members of the House and Senate, rear admirals, brigadier generals, major generals, the Senior Executive Service (SES) Development Program (DP) graduating class, and about 400 government employees.
