Work History:

            October 2014- Present. Home Health Aide, Private Resident, Grant, Nebraska.

My duties were to provided nutritional support, run errands, and assist with ambulation of a client with diabetes that had recently undergone knee surgery.

May 2014- Present. Secretary for Trinity Lutheran Church, Ogallala, Nebraska.

My duties entailed typing up, copying and putting together bulletins for church services, answering phone calls, and filing sermons.

      May 2014- Present. Housekeeper, Private Resident, Grant, Nebraska.

                        My duties involved cleaning and maintaining house, maintaining yard, caring for pets.

August 2011- May 2014. Graduate Teaching Assistant, Emporia State University, Emporia, Kansas.

My duties entailed assisting professors with Intro to Earth Science Labs, answering student’s questions, and grading and proctoring exams. I ran the Science and Math Education Center, checked out books and kits, updated inventory, assisted with Expanding Your Horizons show, and added items to inventory using WorldCat. I answered phones, made copies, and scanned documents as needed. I answered questions and solved problems that arose. In my last year, I supervised and trained new staff.

            January 2009- May 2011. Student Assistant, Emporia State University, Emporia, Kansas.

My duties involved maintaining the Johnston Geology Museum by cleaning and repairing exhibits. I assisted in the upkeep in hallway exhibits, provided upkeep for materials used in Intro to Earth Science Labs, scanned topographic maps, scanned photo slides, assisted in upkeep of map library, assisted with grading and proctoring Intro to Earth Science quizzes and exams. I trained new staff as needed.

Summers of May 2006-August 2010. Housekeeper, Super 8 Motel, Ogallala, Nebraska.

During summers, I cleaned and maintained guest rooms, lobbies, hot tub, exercise room, and breakfast area. I assisted guests as needed. I also cleaned laundry.

My duties involved videotaping city council meetings.

Community Service:

            January 2010- Present. Farm Hand, Private Resident, Ogallala, Nebraska.

For a few weeks at a time, I assisted at a small farm taking care of cats, chickens, and goats.

September 2008- November 2010. Socialization of animals at Buck Fund, Emporia, Kansas.

I spent time with cats to get them used to human contact.

August 2005-December 2010. Service worker at Messiah Lutheran Church, Emporia, Kansas.

My task was to be a “table parent” by providing an adult figure at a supper table for children. I was also an assistant for the crafts instructor.

May 2008-August 2008. Secretary at PAKS Developmental Services, Ogallala, Nebraska.

My duties involved answering phones, assisting customers, and socializing with clients.

2001-2008. Service Coordinator at Trinity Lutheran Church, Ogallala, Nebraska.

My duties were to assist with Sunday school classes, assist in creating bulletins, and aiding in preparing and hosting Easter egg hunts.
