Epic Systems EMR Certified in Inpatient; Clinical Documentation, Procedure Orders and EpicCare® Ambulatory Procedure Orders (EAP and EDP) builder for various hospital units and ambulatory practices; Nutrition/dietary, Behavioral Health (psych), Respiratory Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Sleep Language Pathology, Pediatrics, Supplies, Cardiology, Orthopedics, etc. Order Sets and Smartgroups builder for various hospital units and ambulatory practices (see list above).

  • Workflow development and system analysis, DBV, testing, and system optimization.
  • For a year and a half was the primary Build Analyst for the Clinical Documentation team and completed build tasks including; Navigators, Profile settings, Print groups and Reports, set-up of Employee User Security Templates, Security Classes and Security Points, Shared Security, User roles, Menus, and Activity records for Epic Care Ambulatory and Inpatient workflows.
  • Completed build for the Anticoagulation Navigator for coumadin patients – this build included Navigators Template, Topic and Sections, User Role, Menu Items, Profile updates, Reports and Print Groups, Doc Flowsheets, Review Flowsheets, In Basket pool, and updates to the Lab Results Master file, Profiles, and System Definitions (LSD) master files.
  • EpicCare® Hyperspace® Development and Implementation; Charting Tools for Clinical Documentation ~ SmartSets, SmartText, Smart List; Doc Flowsheets, Care Plans, Patient Education, Print Groups/Reports, etc.
  • Design Build Validate (DBV) regarding EpicCare® master files; Chief Complaint/Reason for Call, Questionnaires, Questions, Orders, and Workstation Settings.
  • Implementation and optimization documentation, Training, Environments, and Documentation (TED Companion); Curriculum and Lesson Plans development and delivery.

  • Successfully completed assignment as Sr. EpicCare® Ambulatory Analyst, tasked with implementing and supporting the Epic application for the department of OB/GYN and Psychiatry. This assignment included participation in critical work in project planning, system and workflow analysis, design, development, documentation, and configurations as well as testing and training delivery throughout various Epic implementation phases.
