INSTRUCTOR/COORDINATOR TO INSPECTORS/POLL WORKERS (Full-time)

The City of New York Board of Elections New York, NY June 2002-Present

 

Instructing/teaching inspectors/poll workers of the community on the laws and procedures in demonstrating their duties using the voting machines, manuals and testing requirements in serving the community.

DIRECT CARE SPECIALIST (Full-time)

Assist autistic female/male individuals with Adult Daily Living in achieving their goals in grooming, interacting with the community such as banking transactions; retail stores in purchasing personal items of clothing, hygiene products, and personal gifts for family and friends;

Accompanying individuals to medical appointments, activities such as community festivities, museums, arts festivities, clothes shopping and movies;

Teaching individuals in reading, math, monetary counting in coins and dollar amounts; how to prepare their meals and assist individuals with their creative artistic ability in drawing, coloring and painting;

Logging confidential adult daily living treatments in communication; socialization and independent achievements;

Instructing and following procedures in a fire and safety evacuation for individuals.
