Project Summary:
LFP is a part of MOMBI project and handles the large format printing division of Hewlett-Packard. Played a major role as a tester as well as developer in the LFP (Large format printers) and fixed up many defects at the crucial time of release. As part of regular feature reviews, prepared documents, attended table reviews and tested the features successfully.
Roles and Responsibilities:
&#; Reviewed the business requirements, IT design documents and prepared test plans for all assigned project releases.
&#; Involved in testing the new functionalities based on test cases and coordinated with the development team in fixing the issues.

Project Summary:
LOCAL is one of the main projects of the VPS-QE branch, in which I\'m leading a team of people. This project concentrates on the ordering and billing of customer requests for the wireless networks (FiOS cable, HD TV, internet and mobile applications). I have been leading the team in performing the testing efforts for this project in Verizon, India.
Roles and Responsibilities:
&#; Analyzing the business requirements for the billing and ordering applications and designing the test scripts, to be managed with the help of QC.
&#; Leading the regression and progression cycles of the LOCAL project, using manual as well as automated test scripts.
&#; Creation and execution of test cases and management of defects using Mercury Quality Center.
&#; Coordinating with various development teams / systems for the timely resolution of tickets raised for bugs, for every release cycle and ensured that the PROD cycle throws up a zero percent defect rate.
&#; Taking avid participation in the PROD cycle too and maintained a recoverable history of all possible errors and their quick resolution.

Project Summary:
AccOrd is an order processing system for telecom requests. The inputs are validated and formatted into a service order format in such a way that it can be billed easily by an existing mainframe system CABS and returns confirmation notice to its customers. The processes involved include, creation of circuit id, critical dates, etc and communications with the existing external systems like CABS, TRKS, and LIVEWIRE.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Testing includes automation, integration testing, validating interfaces, system and regression testing too.
- Involving in test requirements gathering, identifying the appropriate test scenarios and test case preparation.
- Working on test execution, defect tracking and validating the requirements coverage.
- Reporting of execution progress and bug status to the client side.
- Confirming to strict standards in terms of Quality assurance during each phase of testing.
- Active participation during the weekly status calls with the development team, to discuss open issues.
- Monitoring the project deadline and reports any deviation on a daily basis.
