  • M.Tech in Environmental Engineering from Madan Mohan Malviya Engineering College (Affiliated to U.P.Technical University, Lucknow), Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India with 89.10% (Distinction) – 2002-2004
  • Master’s Degree in Environmental Studies from GITAM (Affiliated to Andhra University) Visakhapatnam, with 71.11% (Distinction) – 1999-2001
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Botany, Zoology, Chemistry) from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, with 73.13% (First class) – 1996-1999

  • Biodegradative Potential of Hydrocarbon degrading Soil Fungi from Petroleum contaminated soils of Visakhapatnam as  part of M.Tech (3rd & 4th semester)
  •  Evaluation and Mapping of Ground Water Quality Using GIS and Remote Sensing Techniques In Visakhapatnam as part of M.Sc. (4th  semester)

Water Environment                            

  • Water sampling techniques for surface and groundwater.
  • Routine & Specified analytical methods for Water Quality parameters like - pH, Alkalinity, conductivity, Turbidity, Solids, Chloride, Hardness, Sulphates, Phosphates, Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, DO, BOD, COD, TOC, Trace Elements, Heavy Metal Analysis.
  • Data compilation, processing and its Interpretation.
  • Prediction and evaluation of the impacts.

 

Air Environment                                 
  • Analysis of gaseous pollutants & assessment of existing status of ambient air quality.
  • Sampling Techniques & Analysis of soil samples (Soil parameters like - Sodium, Potassium, Phosphorous, Calcium, Magnesium, and Nitrogen).
  Land Environment

 

Environmental Microbiology:

  • Experience in bacteriological analysis of water, soil, air, sewage samples and also industrial effluents - Standard plate count, Test for coliform, MPN etc.

-   Design and Development of Professional development programmes for working engineers and managers in the areas of Environmental Engineering and Management.

- Organizing National level Training Programmes, Seminars, Conferences, Workshops etc.

-  As a Course Director, have organized National Level Training programmes related to Environment Management, Solid waste management, Urban planning & Infrastructure development, Finance Management for Infrastructure projects, Water and wastewater engineering, Environmental law etc.,

  • Worked as Junior Project Fellow for UGC project entitled “Recycling and Reuse of Slaughter House waste as Poultry Feed” from May 2004 to July 2005, at College of Engineering, GITAM, Visakhapatnam.
