WORK EXPERIENCE

 

  • Worked as a Scientific Assistant in Microbiology Division at  ATIRA ( NABL Accreditated for ISO:17025:2005) from 28th August 2008 to 27th August 2009 and rejoined my contract from 22nd December 2009 to 5th June 2010.
  • In between worked for Sanket Metropolis Diagnostic Laboratory as a Lab Technician in Clinical Microbiology Division from 1st September 2009 to 21st December 2009.

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

 

  • Worked on Microbiological Testing on Packaged Drinking Water,  Food Microbial testing as well as on Assessment of Antimicrobial Activity of Fabric (Textile Microbiology) as per Indian Standards.
  • Media preparation (Regular and Selective),Maintain Bacterial and Fungal cultures (Preservation and Cultivation).Plate reading using Colony counter,Calibration of small instruments,Temperature maintenance of incubators and freezers.
  • Well trained with equipments like low and high speed Centrifuges, Auto-samplers, Laminar Flow Chambers, Hot plates, Biosafety unit, pH meter, Colony counter and Microscope
  •   Preparation of Standard Operating Procedures, analyzes, record, document the data, prepare protocol and test reports for the same.
  • As a Lab technician performed diagnostic testing ( Bacteriology, Antimicrobial Susceptibility testing, Mycobacteriology , Mycology Immunology testing in Clinical Virology and other infectious disease serologic testing (by ELISA) , and Haematology) from paitients sample.
