Government Analyst / Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulations (DBPR) - 1/2009 – Current

 

Gather, records, and analyze data that pertains to the division. Track policy development and watch legislative movement within DBPR field. Compile information and use as an advisory tool to counsel management on the effectiveness of operations, programs, and policies. Review large amounts of data and analyze the information using the department’s software tools and methodologies into departmental reports.

 

Language Analyst / Federal Bureau of Investigation - 5/2002- 8/2009

 

Analyzed, translated and managed foreign language cases concerning criminal, international terrorism and domestic terrorism.  Reviewed confiscated documentation and worked closely with FBI Special Agents and designated Task Force Agents in interrogations, interviews, searches, conversational exchanges and polygraph examinations. Provided analysis of data translated from recorded and written materials. Produced communication reports for internal and court dissemination. Evaluated information gathered from multiple sources, reconciled conflicts, decomposed high-level information into details, abstracted up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguished user requests from the underlying true needs.

As a Senior Intelligence Analyst and Iran Cultural Expert, I prepared raw intelligence reports on issues supporting U.S. Central Command’s area of responsibility. My work directly supported J2 in producing sensitive intelligence assessments and briefings. Assembled and proofread intelligence reports and assisted in consolidating reports into a completed analytical report.   Trained and mentored military reservists in support of J2X targeting program. Coordinated with other United Commands, Service Intelligence Agencies and organizations on issues relevant to CENTCOM AOR. Reviewed intelligence collection requirements; manage acquisition of documents for the conduct of comprehensive analytical intelligence services and activities. Traveled to other military bases to train recruits and provide cultural briefings.

Validated intelligence and evaluated the reliability of sources and credibility of information. Developed relationships with customers to understand their intelligence requirements; Performed duties for OSINT, producing open source analysis and geographical intelligence reports.

Worked as a foreign media analyst using foreign language and my area of knowledge to review and assess foreign open media sources, including internet sites, newspapers, press agencies, television, radio and specialized publications to produce high impact analytical and open source reports for CENTCOM.

 

Juvenile Probation Officer /Florida Department of Juvenile Justice - 1/1998- 2/2004

 

Conducted investigations, prepared appropriate reports and made recommendations based on my investigations. Conducted counseling interviews with assigned cases to determine and clarify probationer problems; suggested constructive methods for addressing such problems. Enforced all orders handed down by the court. Documented facts and testifies in court with respect to the probationer\'s activities, behavior and quality of adjustment while under supervision.

In charge of administrative and program development; implemented and monitored agency programs, performed Intake, interview, and investigate duties and assigned cases.
