Office Manager/Administrator

 Provide customer service by responding to customer inquiries and complaints

 Hire, train, and evaluate personnel, prepare schedules for employees and complete payroll

Correspond with carriers to relay freight details and logistics of the loads as they are received 

Resolve pick-up and delivery issues to ensure customer satisfaction 

Provide continual updated information to shippers on load status; generate reports to reflect productivity

Maintain records of customer request, services performed, charges, inventory, and other dispatch information

Advise drivers about construction areas, accidents, congestion, weather conditions, and other hazards over the road

Arrange for necessary repairs to restore service on trucks and equipment

 

 

Administrative Assistant

Operate fax machines, copiers, multi-line phone systems, and computers

 Answer telephones and provide information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals

Handle all inquiries and direct them to appropriate persons according to their needs

Set up and maintain paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and other material

Open, read, route, and distribute incoming mail and respond to routine letters
