Relevant Skills and Accomplishments: Assembly/Production/Forklift Driver • Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product. • Rotate through all the tasks required in a particular production process. • Follow directions for production products required in a particular production process. Quality Control Operator • Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, installations, and work for conformance to specifications. • Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products, and recommend necessary corrective actions. • Discard or reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications. Press Operator • Set up, operate, or tend machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal or plastic material. • Measure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications, using micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates, or rulers. • Examine completed work pieces for defects such as chipped edges and marred surfaces, and sort defective pieces according to types of flaws. Forklift Driver/Spray Painter • Spray paint parts and inspected parts for General Motors. • Load and unload trucks in Shipping and Receiving. • Put materials away in warehouse properly. • Keep production line running smoothly by putting proper materials on line to run production.
