New York City Public Schools August 2004 – June 2005 Harlem, NY Teacher ß Taught first grade at a SURR and extended day school in a diverse and challenging classroom. ß Collectively planned with other first grade teachers to implement instruction that would best meet the needs of our students. ß Developed and planned curriculum using the program UBD ß Designed and implemented whole class and individual behavior plans. ß Worked with parents to help them be active participates in their child’s education. ß Completed a program called Insights taught at NYU that works with professionals and parents to identify and provide intervention to children with behavior problems.
