Following completion of the Medical Transcription course at Butler County Community College, I am interested in gainful employment in the medical transcription field.  My ultimate goal is to work at home; however, I am very agreeable to an in-office position for further training and gaining experience to this end.  In addition to the course at Butler County Community College, I underwent a 150-hour internship, transcribing at home, under the direction of Jeannie Arnold, Medical Transcriptionist.  This involved mainly progress notes; however, during my course at Butler County I transcribed hospital documents, to involve history and physicals, discharge summaries, consults, etc.

I am very eager to be employed and would appreciate any consideration you may give me.
