Thesis
Title: Welcoming the Wind: The political process for geographic siting of wind turbine farms in the U.S.

This paper identifies the state-based models used for permitting wind farms, and through five examples, the points in these processes that have allowed for opposition to the siting of wind farms. Results show that state-to-state variations in permitting processes do have an influence on where wind farms are developed.
