Feb 2007 – Oct 2007 Stantec Consulting Bakersfield, CA Project Manager Hired specifically to handle a large scale project to get it back on track. The project is a 2000 plus acre subdivision called McAllister Ranch. The project has commercial/retail components with residential, parks and a golf course designed by Greg Norman. I manage client liaison, agency compliance, public hearings and planning commission meetings, contract negotiations a seven crew engineering staff with engineers, designers and drafters. I am tasked with project coordination with subconsultants, manufacturers, shop drawing review, site visit review to resolve construction conflicts, construction drawing review, mentoring of staff, project billing, lift station design, lot layouts, tentative map and final map processing, Due diligence and entitlement, project proposals and addendum, cost estimates and recommendations to client. July 2006 – Feb 2007 New Faze Development Sacramento, CA Project Manager Responsible for all entitlement and agency liaison and correspondence with consultants and sub consultants including engineers, architects, contractors. Mainly to take project from conception to construction. Responsible for bids, advertising, scheduling, recordation of maps and signatures for improvement plans, and expensing the project for construction. Mainly responsible for the entitlement portion of processing the project for hand off to the construction manager to start of construction. Feb 2006 – July 2006 HDA Consulting (Sole Proprietor) Consultant Responsible for all entitlement and agency liaison and correspondence with consultants and sub consultants including engineers, architects, contractors. Site Planning, site visualizations (of before and after), meetings with agencies, engineers and architects to review and comment on agency submittals, recordation of maps and signatures for improvement plans, scheduling and completion dates for getting project to construction. Liaison between agencies and client. Due diligence for prerequisites of proposed projects and proposal writing. Getting new contracts and detailing proposed work and scope for proposals. Advising client of alternatives and best moves of processing entitlements through the agency. Planning Commission meetings. Recordation of maps and signatures for improvement plans. Supervision of design and preparation of layouts for designers and drafters for Tentative Subdivision Maps and construction drawings, SWPP, Lot mergers, Lot Line adjustments. Visualization of before and after for eminent domain by Flood Control Agency for lawsuit (client won before court, after visual) Current projects in Jackson, Merced, Oroville, Amador County, Solano County, Vacaville, Napa, Sacramento, Dixon, Vallejo, Yuba City and Benicia. Projects are Condos, commercial, medical and residential subdivisions Jan 2001 – Apr 2004 BKF Engineers Walnut Creek, CA Project Engineer Client contact and entitlement for new developments. Offsite included, new storm drainage, Sanitary sewer system, water, fire supply, joint trench and improvement for existing drainage swale for storm water (built). Onsite, provided grading and paving plan, horizontal plan, coordination with subs (Landscaping, elect, mech, architectural) for utility connections and application for construction permit. Met with various agencies for getting proper standards, requirements and outline of facility development (i.e., Contra County Flood Control, Fire District, Sanitary Sewer District and City of Brentwood). Should start construction this year. Napa - Kaiser Design of Site for Kaiser facility in Napa. Coordination of utilities with various agencies and subs (same as indicated above on previous project). Provided Onsite detention in pipes due to inadequate existing storm water system.(built) Diamond Hills - Calistoga This is a project I took over that BKF had been working on since 1992--a very complicated and political project that involved 35 – 40,000 S.F. lots with 10,000 S.F. building envelopes. The project required a storage tank facility for fire and domestic water, a water pump station, a sewer pump station, 3 onsite detention ponds, road improvements, coordination of final map, grading plan, erosion control plan (utilizing Best Management Practice - BMP), utility plan including 3 separate water lines, retaining walls, numerous custom design details for the retaining walls, signage and striping plans, hydrology report and coordination with CalTrans because the entry to the property intersected with highway 29. This project grew from a plan set of 50 drawings to 135-plan sheet set with the various disciplines. The base map was then used to generate plan and profile, cross sections and earthwork calculations for the street improvement plans (18-sheet set of 30x42 double plan and profile drawings. • Design and Drafting of Water Transmission Main for the City of Coalinga • The project required compilation of survey data (10,000 survey points) and turning that data into a topo base map. The base map was used to generate plan and profile sheets (for a water transmission main). Feb 1989/ Aug 1990 Omni Means Roseville, CA Engineer • Design and Drafting of Parking Facility for Sierra College • Project required redesign of existing parking lot to provide more students parking. Grading, paving, and landscaping were additional services provided. • Design and Drafting of Street Improvements for Rocklin Road for the City of Rocklin • The project required compilation of survey data (2,500 survey points) and turning that data into a topo base map. Base map was used for improvement plans. • Design and Drafting of Street Improvement Plans for Quartz Drive for the City of Auburn. • Created plan and profile sheets from surveyed topo data.
