Subjects Studied: Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmaceutical Formulation Development, Modern Analyical Techniques, Biostatistics etc. My Dissertation work was on Preparation and Evaluation of Metformin Hydrochloride Controlled Release Dosage Form. Metformin Hydrochoride is a highly water-soluble drug which leads to difficulty in providing a slow release rate from formulation. The controlled release effect was achieved by using different Hydrophilic polymers. Studies were conducted to understand the pattern of drug release and the formulated tablet was evaluated for Dissolution Characteristics. I carried out formulation of opthalmics, otic solutions, injections and inhalation solution for nebulisers and preparation of syrups and suspensions. I am well versed with international regulatory market rules & regulations like US FDA, ICH guidelines.
