During my stay in this tribal settlement I successfully lobbied for Land Registration for the people; evidence documenting their ownership of their specific piece of land. Using research from this one-year period I completed my Master\'s thesis, ‘Ethnography of a tribe\'. Field work and data collection for project titled \'Religious beliefs among the Paliyans of Kadaisikadu situated in Dindigul District (South India)\', in partial fulfillment of M.A. Anthropology Degree.
