Basic business model is to tap the HNI client base of Kotak Mahindra Bank liability branches to cross sell other asset based products. Worked with Kotak Mahindra Bank as Relationship Manager in Personal Finance Department, Mumbai Brief: Looked after small ticket sized personal loans (STPL). Handled 2 DSTs with each unit head reporting into me. Each DST had FOS strength of 30 each and basic challenge was to drive the FOS to achieve targets on a month on month basis. Management Research Project (From 01 October 2005 to 15 February 2006) Basel II Norms and its impact on Indian Banks. The key result of this study was to understand the preparedness of Indian banks in meeting with the stringent Capital Adequacy norms. Mostly done through secondary research, the study highlighted that most banks need more time before they can actually implement Basel II norms. Live Project for Greenwich Associates (From 24 September, 2005 to 30 October, 2005) Worked as Executive Interviewer to understand the banking needs & relationships of large organizations. The key focus area of this study was to understand the services (notably treasury management and e trading) used by big corporations and their preferred banks. Summer Internship Project Details (From 16 February, 2005 to 26 May, 2005): (i) Worked for D’Essence Consulting Firm on “Biotechnology Sector in India”. The key outcome of the study was to recognize the parameters, which will essentially enable an investor to recognize a good value for money Biotechnology Company. (ii) Worked for D’Essence Consulting Firm on, “Print Media Sector in India.” The key deliverable of the project was to prepare an Investment Memorandum for a print magazine, which was looking to expand its circulation. (iii) Worked for D’Essence Consulting Firm on, “NGO Sector in India”. The key deliverable of this project was to map the environment of giving in India for a foreign NGO wanting to enter India.
