Experience: · Synthesis of ligand and metal complexes and purified by chromatographic technique (viz. column, TLC,HPLC,GC-MS) · Used spectroscopic technique: IR, NMR, UV-Vis, EPR, FAB mass ,ESMS and magnetic studies for characterization of ligand and metal complexes · Used X –Ray crystallography to determine structure of the complexes · Energy minimized structures (global minima) of the complexes by MM2 force field calculations using software Chem 3D Ultra version (0.6) programme package · Good understanding of assay of superoxide dismutase · Determined binding properties of small molecule like phenol in the variable cavity size of macrocyclic frame · Worked on redox properties of the complexes · Strong interpersonal skills along with good verbal and written communication skills.
