Responsible for working with Sales, Client Services and our external customers to develop/write Functional and User Requirements, implementation plans, test plans, and training documents for application solutions in the pharmaceutical and electronic prescribing environment. [ August 2003-October 2005 ] MediMedia Information Technologies [ City, State ] Senior Client Manager  Responsible for data analysis and support of health plan formulary database. Client base consists of major pharmaceutical companies and physician based Electronic Prescribing software vendors. I provide complex queries in Microsoft ACCESS and detailed Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. Once the data is delivered, my responsibilities include personal contact with the client to interpret and analyze the data. Data is delivered monthly with ad-hoc requests on a daily basis. My position requires extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical industry with special emphasis on health plan pharmacy benefit drug formularies, this includes Managed Care, Medicare and State Medicaid plans. I am also responsible for writing documentation regarding the data base and its data elements, our website application and internal training material. I work with the Client Services team and our programming staff to develop enhancements to our internal application and the database to continually provide the most comprehensive data to our client base. I also play a large role in the development, design of new client applications. This responsibility includes requirement and test plan development as well as testing. [ October 1999-August 2003 ] Omnicare, Inc. [ City, State ] Senior Business Analyst  Responsible for support of 43 pharmacies nationwide. These pharmacies are Long Term Care Institutional pharmacies filling over 5,000 prescriptions per day. This position required me to travel to each of our pharmacies and work with the staff to analyze pharmacy workflow issues and implement new workflow procedures. I was also responsible for converting these pharmacies from one pharmacy management software system to Omnicare’s product. I was the team leader for each of these conversions, responsible for every aspect of the conversion from analysis of the current system being used to make sure the new software would be able to handle the pharmacy’s business needs, the actual data conversion, training the staff on the new software and remaining onsite to insure a smooth transition. I worked with our software vendor to develop enhancements to the software to handle our pharmacies business needs. I wrote the design specifications, approved the project programming design, tested the software enhancement and wrote the documentation for our pharmacies to understand the new functionality. [ May 1992-October 1999] Rescot Systems, Inc. Senior Training Coordinator  Responsible for in-house and onsite training for users of proprietary pharmacy management system. Designed classes, created all training material, including workbooks, practical examples and tests. Training was done in a classroom setting and in a live pharmacy environment. Qualifications I am an extremely detail oriented person with exceptional Customer Service skills developed in my 15 years in Customer Service related positions. I work well in a team environment, but I also work very well in an independent atmosphere.
