Other: Worked full-time at Wakulla County Clerk of Court as a Deputy Clerk, and was offered a job in the Property Appraisers Office for one year. While working for Tallahassee Turf, controlled the payroll, bills, invoices, etc., using QuickBooks, etc. 2005 hired as Administrative Assistant for Florida Department of Health, Bureau of Statewide Pharmaceutical Services. Duties & Responsibilities: Provide administrative support for the Pharmaceutical Programs Manager and 10 Regional Drug Inspectors for the Bureau of Pharmacy Services. Responsible for a number of administrative functions ranging from routine administrative to complex and confidential tasks. Enter daily incoming checks, applications, surety bonds, and certificate of distributor records, and fines from violations into database and print reports of monetary totals. Input daily activity reports from field agents into the daily activity database which records permit, application, and assignment numbers. Assisted DOH Agents and lawyers with case reviews, etc. Open, date stamp, sort, and distribute incoming mail daily. Enter assignments from field and make case files for investigative/complaint cases, log, and track cases. Serve as back up to the office receptionist as needed, respond to calls which may involve interpretation of policies and procedures. Serve as back up for Maxine as necessary. Assist in planning, initiating, and carrying out to completion clerical, secretarial, and administrative activities and responsibilities. Prepare correspondence, reports, and other work as assigned. Track work products; maintain records, etc. Write violation letters and mail out to the appropriate company’s president and registered agent. Provide assistance as needed in response to and recovery following natural or man-made disasters. 2006 promoted to Administrative Assistant I for the Florida Department of Health, Investigative Services Unit. Duties & Responsibilities: Provide support for the Investigative Services Programs Manager. Provide support for the Regional Drug Agents and the Pharmacy Inspectors for the Florida Department of Health’s Investigative Services Unit. Transmit inspection assignment to area offices within 5 working days. Coordinate and prepare material for annual trainings, conferences, and meetings. Make purchases for office with purchasing card, approval of charges for office staff, maintain purchase orders and invoices and billing, and prepare monthly reconciliation reports. Maintain records and submit reports for ISU headquarters automobiles. Run and track monthly productivity reports for the State of Florida Department of Health’s Regional Drug Agents, and Pharmacy Inspectors.
