Skills: Supervision-mostly in restaurants. Scheduling-personal and business related. Research-internet and otherwise. Accounts Payable-mostly as an assistant. Microsoft Word, Works, basic Excel, Quickbooks and some Powerpoint. Data Entry-Alpha and Numeric General Office-reception, correspondence, filing, copying, scanning, etc. Travel-rate research, destination research, arrangements and mileage redemption. Entertaining-I have a great deal of experience setting up events on both a small and large scale, dealing with caterers, chefs, florists, musicians, staff, etc. Cooking-I have an AAA in Culinary Arts from the Art Institute of Seattle. Graduated April ‘99 Customer Service-I have over 16 years of customer service experience and deal well with people from all walks of life. Security-I was in the Army National Guard for eight years. Honorable Discharge Sep. ’99. Child Care-I am the eldest of five children. I’ve cared for my siblings, other peoples children and more recently for nieces and nephews for most of my life. I’ve had training in CPR and infant CPR though I’m not currently certified. I’ve taken care of children from the age of infant all the way up to mid-teen. Driving-I currently hold a Nevada Driver’s License and have a good driving record. Fate's Charm I was owner and operator of a small retail/divination store here in Fallon, NV for a year. I was forced to close the business due to lack of a customer base. I performed every aspect of the business. Ordering, receiving, A/R & A/P, customer service, banking, display, research and taxes. I left this job in the hopes that if I was able to devote more of my time to my new store that I would be able to keep it open. Between Jun. '04 and Dec. '04 I held several positions that fell under the description of part time, temp. Kelly Services and AccuServices in Reno, NV placed me with several businesses as reception, general office and data entry. None of these temp positions lasted longer than a month. '04 I was responsible for all front of house training. Fill in for any staff that couldn't work that day. End of shift paperwork. Etc. I left this position for personal reasons. I have been unable to find who's responsible for the records. This was a per diam, job specific position. Some of the things I was called on to do include. Ordering, receiveing, hiring, HR paperwork, contracts writing, correspondence, hall and event booking, hiring of musicians, outside caterers and florists.
