I work best when I am working with people, be it customers, patients, or fellow employees. Work History 10/2005 to present Special Services/Service Desk, The Home Depot placing special orders for customers and collecting payment, contacting various vendors for order receipt confirmation, estimated times of arrival and order discrepancies; informing customers of updated order status; writing up training audits for associates who need training in various areas; returns of stock and special order merchandise; contacting vendors for credit of returned special order merchandise, general customer service. I was also a member of the National Vocational Technical Honor Society. I also received the Vo-Tech perfect attendance award. I have also received the Editors Choice Award from the International Library of Poetry for 2004 and 2005. Interests and Activities I love working with people, and try to stay in a “people setting.” I am also highly interested and involved in adoption proceedings. Hobbies I love to write poetry and short stories to keep people interested. I also often swim and riding ATV’s is also a new hobby of mine. Volunteer Experience In Vo-Tech school I was the recruiter for the Central Blood Bank Blood drive. I also did 80 volunteer hours in a clinical setting at Villa St. Joseph 11/2000 to 05/2001. Computer Skills After basic high school computer training, I went on to work with various forms of technology in various jobs. Also, with my most recent employment, I spent 99% of my time doing work on the computer. Without computers, my job could not be done. Licenses and Certificates I have attended two out-side-of -high school programs and have earned my Nursing Assistant Certification, and my certificate to perform Massage Therapy.
