Coordinate and interface with DISA-EUR, th Signal Command Switching Control Center, USAFE and Naval Forces in Europe. Resolve technical issues; produce reports, implement network planning, network routing and switch program changes. Responsible for tracing, changing and creating translations to and from the EWSD switch system. Apply an organization wide set of disciplines for the planning, analysis, design, and construction of information systems using ORACLE developed software. Perform call simulation to determine if DSN calls are routed in accordance with the DRSN/DSN Worldwide Routing Plan. Use knowledge of military unique furnished engineering tools to perform process and data modeling in support of the planning and analysis efforts. Verify, validate and update the DSN database sets contained in the WWOLS. For the WWOLS, develop and populate Common Language Location Identifier codes to ensure correlation with the Command Communications Service Designator for switch trunk assignments. Develop and verify geographic location code assignment of DSN switches in the European Theater. Implement scripts to determine authorized and unauthorized precedence users and provide supporting documentation of results. Responsible for the configuration management of the DSN using a management system for Engineering Change Proposals, Telecommunications Service Requests, Telecommunications Service Orders, Switch Revision Messages/Precedence Authorization (ETTS/PA) tracking system database. Create relational databases to support the collection of traffic data from KN-S, Nortel, EWSD and Italtel digital switches. Write switch translations for the EWSD switches in the network. Manage projects from the project conception through the project life cycle.
