Led the staff in the preparation of and support for the execution of 23 major deployments to 5th and 6th Fleet in support of Operations ENDURING and IRAQI FREEDOM. Resource Control Officer: Commander, US Pacific Fleet 2001 - 2003 - Responsible to the Commander, US Pacific Fleet for the proper formulation and execution of the programmed budget for all subordinate commands and staffs within the Pacific Fleet, a budget in excess of $10 Billion. Position held during and post 9/11 adding the responsibility to validate critical cost of war requirements. As a result PACFLT received an augment of $2.3 Billion by Congress in support of global war on terrorism operational requirements. - Responsible for the execution and guidance of the funding provided for the recovery effort in the Ehime Maru fishing vessel. A major salvage and recovery effort of a Japanese fishing vessel and the lost personnel onboard. - Supervised 40 military and civilian personnel in the execution of their duties. Assistant Inspector General: United States Joint Forces Command 1998 - 2001 - Responsible to the Commander in Chief U.S. Joint Forces Command for monitoring, evaluating, assessing and inspecting operational and other areas essential to mission performance, and for evaluating the ability of all echelons of the command to accomplish the assigned mission. - Served as Inspection Team Leader on numerous occasions in and out of CONUS. As a Team Leader filled the critical role in orchestrating all team evolutions, exercises and logistics and prepared and presented the out brief and required reports of findings to the Commanders of each activity inspected. Executive Officer: Shore Intermediate Maintenance Activity 1995 - 1998 Responsible for the leadership and management of 2000 military and 30 civilian personnel providing intermediate level repair and maintenance for the surface and submarine force of the U.S. Atlantic Fleet.
