SUMMERY of EXPERIENCES: Total six years of experience in various positions (administrative and research) in an International Organization, International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) Bangladesh country office. Trained in home and abroad. Selected Important Professional Experiences: · April to May 2001: Involved as an active member of an IPM assessment team to improve relationship between researcher and farmer to enhance rice production. · January to April 2003: Participated in a field exercise in a multidisciplinary team research at the Netherlands aimed for identifying research actions to transform plant production farms of the southeastern part of the Netherlands into viable enterprises that comply with the pesticide regulations of the EU and the Netherlands government. · April to July 2003: served as a active member of international research team to analyzed the feasibility of enhancing biomass production for sustainable agriculture and improved livelihoods in two watersheds in Bellary and Chitradurga district of Karnataka, India. · January 2004 to January 2006: Worked as an active member of a multidisciplinary team of experts under a EU funded project. The team assessed independently the impact on livelihoods that directly comes from subproject involvement in technology generation and in the participatory research process of four subproject of PETRRA at three regions in Bangladesh.
