Assures that all kiosk employees are actively sampling and selling products at all times in order to meet or exceed established company objectives. • During off season provide on going support to Grocery Products Division by conducting store visits and audits. Develop Commercial Sales accounts, and recruits seasonal candidates. 1999 – 2005 DISTRICT MANAGER Family Dollar Stores Operations Management • Oversee operations of 20 units with annual sales exceeding $23 million dollars. • Negotiate salaries and benefits with new employees. • Manage training programs and oversee on-going staff development. • Monitor development of all staff and promote into management positions. • Work closely with managers in developing store staff. • Review staffing needs of each unit on a monthly basis. • Ensure that all aspects of loss prevention areas are in place in all units. • Perform loss prevention duties when needed.
