Shanelle Marie Wingert 1819 Creek View Court New Cumberland Pennsylvania, 17070 Phone: (717) 712-0859 Email: [email protected] My objective is to further expand my knowledge in this field. Animals or ALL kinds are my hobby, my passion, and what I love. I’ve only been working with animals for about 2 years, and I now know that it is something that I would like to spend the rest of my career doing. QUALIFICATIONS One of my great strengths are my “people skills” as they’re called. I’ve got gentle hands and a loving heart. So when it comes to handling a certain situation I do it gently, but I also do it in a efficient and proper way. I’m very strong willed, and have been known to never miss a day of work. I’m quick at learning, and always love learning new things. EDUCATION 1990-1998 Upper Dauphin Elementary School 1998-2003 Upper Dauphin Area High School- Diploma October 2005- Petsmart Professional Grooming Training EMPLOYMENT HISTORY 2005- Present Kennel Assistant and Professional Groomer at the Animal Hosp. Of Dauphin County As a Kennel worker my job is to care for the animals. I feed them, take them out for walks, and try to play with them. I also assist the technicians and veterinarians when ever possible with bloodwork or anything else they would need. As a groomer, I give a wide variety of animals bath and haircuts to whatever the owners preference is. 2004-2005 Head Bather, Petsmart In this work place I mainly bathed all sorts of dogs. I did do quite a few haircuts here and there, and even went off to school to become a professional groomer. Here is where I learned how to be patient and collective when things seem to get hectic. 2002-2003 Crew Member, McDonald’s At this workplace I prepared food, took orders, and did a lot of dishes. I enjoyed my time here, and if it was not for McDonald’s I would not have the people skills that I’ve acquired today.
