My ideal position would include something in the area of sales and providing education to professional clients, as well as challenging myself by meeting sales quotas and developing a territory. Job Experience: Creative Skin Care – April 2002 to present Currently self-employed as a skin care therapist/esthetician in private practice in Ventura, California. Responsible for all day to day operations of the business, including scheduling, performing skin analysis, services, sales, product recommendation, advertising, inventory, and follow up with clients as needed. Approximately 60% of practice involves the treatment of acne and chemical services, i.e. chemical peels, as well as recommendations for photodamaged skin through treatment and home care regiments. Continued education courses taken to stay current with product knowledge and industry trends. Education: November 2001 - Lu Ross Academy in Ventura. Received course completion certificate in Medical Aesthetics. Achieved course excellence in both practical and technical areas, including “Student of the Month,” and an award in product sales. I completed the most operations in my course, and finished the 6 month course in 4 months. While at Lu Ross, I learned and practiced “hands on” in all skin care procedures, including skin analysis, European, aromatherapy, skin renewal, and acne facials, speed waxing, spa body wrap treatments, massage, make up, Vacuodermie and Pressotherapy (a form of lymphatic drainage) product knowledge and sales. Additionally, I have taken advanced classes in acne and chemical peels as part of a medical aesthetics course, for which I received a certification, and also courses in hot stone therapy and makeup artistry. Product Knowledge I have an excellent working knowledge of the Dermalogica product line, which included taking courses at the International Dermal Institute in Los Angeles. I am also a certified Epicuren esthetician, and have extensive knowledge of this line, which I use in my own practice. I am the top salesperson of Epicuren products in the county of Ventura. Availability: I am available to commence work immediately and am open to travel, as well as some evenings and weekends. I presently ive in Ventura County and would like something in that general area, or, in the alternative, would be interested in locating to the SF Bay Area.
