TITLE & SCOPE:
Welding Training Instructor Job Description
Training Instructors impart industry-specific knowledge and skills, facilitating employee development. Responsibilities encompass designing effective training programs, conducting workshops, evaluating trainee performance, and refining course content to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop training programs for employees
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for new hires and current employees
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and modify as needed
- Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs and develop solutions
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in employee training and development
- Provide feedback and coaching to employees to facilitate their growth and development
- Manage training materials and resources, including training manuals, presentations, and audiovisual equipment
- Track and report on employee training progress and completion to management
Requirements:
- Minimum of a degree or certification in relevant field or applicable experience in industry
- Proven experience as a training instructor or similar role
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to design and develop training programs
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods
- Ability to evaluate and assess the effectiveness of training programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and other relevant software
