Responsibilities
This is a full-time, remote position.Ideal candidate will be located in the Eastern (EST) or Central (CST). We are seeking a payroll professional to join our organization as a Payroll Analyst.  In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of company payroll while maintaining financial accuracy, compliance with tax and labor regulations, and employee satisfaction through proper compensation management.Specifically, you will:Process payroll with speed and accuracy to ensure employees are paid correctly and on time Audit employee pay records and reconcile totals by department, location, and country Coordinate third-party payroll system implementations and upgrades Interpret pay policies (vacation, LOA, disability, workers compensation, union contracts, etc.) Ensure appropriate amounts/deductions are calculated and applied correctly Verify compliance with federal and state payroll requirements Stay current with changes in payroll laws and regulations Assist with audits of internal records, workers compensation, and tax filings Document payroll processes and procedures Prepare and disburse payroll checks, payroll taxes, and employee benefit payments Evaluate current systems and develop operating efficiency improvements Monitor and ensure proper documentation of employee benefit payments Prepare reports illustrating payroll expenditures, including tax payments and benefit plan disbursements 
Qualifications
 3 - 6 years of experience with hands-on, full cycle payroll processingIntermediate Excel skills Knowledge of federal and state payroll tax regulations Strong attention to detail and accuracy Problem-solving abilities appropriate to level Confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information Time management skills to meet strict deadlines Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels Experience with specific payroll software systems (ADP, Workday, UltiPro/Ceridian) Knowledge of accounting principles Experience with payroll system implementations or upgrades Payroll certification (CPP - Certified Payroll Professional) preferredData analysis capabilities
