Position Summary:
Under specific direction, this position will perform routine repetitive laboratory tasks, which may include the preparation of laboratory supplies and equipment, and other related duties as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists teams and core staff with all aspects of laboratory projects and experiments using standard laboratory techniques under supervision.
Assist with autoclaving, media/buffer preparations, stocking and maintenance of inventory/supplies, and other related duties and tasks, as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent required
Experience: Knowledge or experience in a scientific research laboratory is desired
Certifications, Licenses, etc:
Other Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
- Willingness and ability to work with rodents if necessary, biohazardous material and/or potential carcinogens
- Work independently as well as in a team environment
- Be responsible, organized, and possess strong attention to detail
- Possess strong time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional proficiency in Microsoft Office
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Direct: This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities

Compensation: The expected hiring rate for this position is $17.75/hour
