We are seeking an Environmental Intern to join our team!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist Environmental Scientists with projects, data gathering, document preparation, and document reviews

• Collect and organize environmental data for analysis and reporting

• Conduct research on environmental regulations and emerging trends

• Prepare outreach publications and handouts

• Perform administrative tasks as needed, such as filing, organizing project documents, and managing databases

• Some fieldwork may be assigned

• Some travel may be required

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or related field.

• Basic understanding of environmental regulations and research methods.

• Strong written and oral communication skills and proficiency with MS Office applications (Word and Excel) is required.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

• 40-Hr HAZWOPER certification a plus.

• Have reliable transportation; some travel may be required.

• Ability to successfully pass a federal agency background check is required.
