We are currently seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to support the needs in our Raleigh, NC program. This position provides registered nursing and facilitation services for assigned clients within designated site. The nurse in this role is responsible for assessment and interventions for assigned residential clients; the nurse designs and implements treatment strategies based on scientific nursing theory, evidence based practice and principles to promote health and medical stability. The nurse also provides training to clients or family members regarding how to promote health, wellness and medical stability as well as to staff. The Registered Nurse directs the practice of the LPN and/or CMA's on the unit. May participate in program’s on-call rotation.

Duties:

• Coordinates nursing assessments, treatment planning, implementation of care and health evaluations.
• Completes regular comprehensive examinations with clients, provides concise written assessments to document the examination, summarizes findings and establishes ongoing and monthly health maintenance goals in a timely fashion.
• Timely identification of individuals in need of medical/nursing services or intervention. Provides interventions as needed.
• Trains/educates families, funders, employers, and others as needed to support the treatment and discharge plan.

Requirements:

• State Licensure as a Registered Nurse, preferably with a degree in nursing (BSN) is required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained
• Ability to lift 50lbs
