| Brief Description of PSU/School/Dept | The University Place Hotel is a hotel and conference center owned by Portland State University. Located on SW Lincoln Street near 4th Avenue the hotel includes an outdoor heated pool, a restaurant, fitness center, and meeting/event spaces. The parking lot offers 213 vehicle spaces reserved primarily for hotel guests. |

| Position Summary | University Place Hotel and Conference Center is seeking three (3) On-Call Intermittent Banquet Attendants at 0.4 FTE each to join our in-house team. In this role, you will ensure the seamless execution of events throughout the year. Hours vary significantly based on business needs, ranging from 0 to 40 hours per week. This position is responsible for providing high-quality service during banquets, meetings, and multi-day functions. Duties include everything from efficient room setup and professional food service to refreshing spaces, breaking down setups, and assisting with dishwashing. By maintaining our in-house standards of excellence and operational reliability, you will play a critical role in ensuring a consistent, positive guest experience and supporting the overall success of University Place Hotel. |
