UPCI Basic Research Administration - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (26006114)
As a postdoctoral associate, the incumbent will receive advanced training in clinical and translational cancer research, with a particular focus on gastrointestinal oncology and cancer immunotherapy. Her responsibilities will include supporting development of investigator-initiated research proposals and grant applications, conducting retrospective and outcomes-based research using our expanding immunotherapy database, participating in scientific manuscript preparation and publication, authoring review articles, and assisting with management and analysis of research datasets. These activities will provide substantial opportunities to develop expertise in study design, biostatistical interpretation, scientific writing, grantsmanship, database research, and academic publication.
The role is 0.5 FTE and the scope of work and training objectives have been tailored to a part-time appointment while maintaining clear mentorship, scholarly productivity, and career development goals.
Requirements: PhD or MD required. Experience in medical science preferred.
