The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh is seeking a full-time postdoctoral associate to work at Magee-Women's Research Institute. Magee-Women's Research Institute (MWRI) is an independent research Institute and one of the largest in the nation that focuses on reproductive biology, and women's and infants' health. Since its inception in 1992, MWRI has been a leader in funding from the National Institute of Health (NIH) and other sources. Opportunities are available to work with members of MWRI on specific research projects and time to pursue individual research is available.
This postdoctoral position focuses on pioneering research and development in the field of renewable energy integration. You will work on advanced control strategies for grid-tied inverters, ensuring stability, efficiency, and reliability in power systems. Responsibilities include conducting prototype and lab test bench development, experimental research, analyzing data, writing scholarly articles, project reports, presenting findings at technical review meetings and conferences, mentoring graduate and undergraduate students, and managing projects.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Bioengineering
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Experience with neuroimaging and statistical modeling
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
