Engagement Officer: C-DETECT

This position is to serve as the Engagement Officer for the federally-funded C-DETECT project.

The Engagement Officer will lead efforts to gather information from clinical and community stakeholders to inform design, optimization, outreach, and patient/provider buy-in.

This will involve identifying key stakeholders and coordinating meetings.

The Engagement Officer will lead:

  • methods development for listening sessions. This includes communication, research questions, analysis plan

  • all regulatory processes (including preparation of IRB application)

  • preparation of engagement reports

  • facilitation of listening sessions

  • analysis of data collected at listening sessions and compile summary reports

  • identification and recruitment of experts to create an expert advisory panel

  • organization and leadership of expert advisory panel meetings and discussions

  • organization of meetings of the C-DETECT team to deliver updates from the listening sessions

  • creation of action plan resulting from data analysis and expert opinions

Other responsibilities include:

  • Managing budgets

  • Working with junior study staff

  • Obtaining informed consent

  • Scheduling study-related appointments

  • Collecting and coordinating study data

  • Troubleshooting issues that occur before, during and after listening sessions/project meetings

  • Managing regulatory documents

  • Analyzing data

  • Assisting with the preparation and submission of grant applications and scientific manuscripts

Hybrid. Some on-site required. This position requires travel, so access to a vehicle is necessary.


Job Summary

Manages all aspects of one or more projects for a research program and oversees all aspects of the project lifecycle. Provides leadership, technical direction, coordination, and expertise across projects. Analyzes progress and/or performance and prepares reports. Ensures compliance with budget, scope, timeline, and regulations. Assists with external communications.

Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Hiring Range: $26,808.50 - 35,744.50
