POSITION SUMMARY
McCarthy is excited to hire full-time HVAC Techniciansfor our commercial team. McCarthy is looking for team members that have a proven commitment to safety and can be committed to a full-time schedule in Phoenix, AZ.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems and components.
- Maintains tools, supplies and/or equipment for the purpose of ensuring the availability of items and equipment are in safe operating condition.
- Prepares documentation for written support and conveying information appropriately.
- Responds to emergency situations to resolve heating/cooling and plumbing issues.
- Operates heating/air conditioning and refrigeration systems and related equipment, equipment startups.
- Create exceptional client experiences through strong relationships, knowledge of their business, and an ability to deliver impactful solutions.
- Coordinates own tasks with a specific range of responsibilities under established procedures.
- Contributes to a team under general supervision of an experienced professional or manager.
- Skilled specialist that demonstrates reliable judgment in resolving issues and making recommendations.
- Promote a positive learning environment in mentoring and directing of apprentices.
- Understand and implement lockout/tag-out procedures for safe and secure task(s)
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ relevant technical training or equivalent work-related experience
- Journeyman License preferred
- Comprehends technical information and blueprints for quick execution.
- Experience with RTUs, Boilers, MAUs, AHUs, Fans, Pumps, Cooling Towers, VAV/FPBs, Automation Systems, Chillers, Hydronic Systems, DX Cooling circuits and components.
- Demonstrates understanding of McCarthy Safety Guidelines and Procedures.
- Exceptional safety knowledge of tools, testing devices andsurroundings.
