Job Summary
As a Human Resources Analyst II (C) (HRIS), you will support our HCM (PeopleSoft) modules such as workforce administration, position data, compensation, and benefits. Responsibilities include updating application data, ensuring accuracy and integrity of all HRIS data, and assisting with developing reports. This person will work closely with business owners inside and outside the Human Resources Group.
This classification performs work that requires maintaining confidentiality and is routinely privy to matters that either involves confidential information, sensitive personnel issues, or exposure to confidential and sensitive strategic corporate information.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain and audit PeopleSoft HCM data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
- Process workforce, job, position, compensation, and benefits transactions.
- Research and resolve HR data issues, system errors, and transaction discrepancies.
- Develop and run standard and ad‑hoc HR reports to support data analysis and decision‑making.
- Partner with HR and business teams to gather requirements and support system enhancements.
- Assist with testing system updates, patches, and fixes, ensuring quality and proper documentation.
- Provide end‑user support and guidance on PeopleSoft functionality while safeguarding sensitive HR data.

Schedule: 9/80 Start times are no earlier than 6 am and end times are no later than 6 pm.
Hybrid: Metropolitan’s current practice in this position is a hybrid work schedule. This typically includes two days a week in person and the other days remote. This is subject to change dependent on organizational needs. In addition, a telework policy is scheduled for negotiations and once completed and implemented, will provide final direction on the hybrid schedule.
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and two years of relevant experience; or two years as a MWD Human Resources Analyst I.
Relevant/Related Experience is defined as: work experience in an HCM System.
