| Physical Requirements | The essential functions of this position include: occasionally lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to and over 50lbs; occasionally standing or walking with objects 10-25lbs; communicate and work cooperatively with staff, faculty and applicants; abide by University guidelines; maintain confidentiality; prioritize and manage work effectively; provide exceptional customer service; complete work with interruptions; ensure work is detailed, accurate and completed in a timely manner; perform work in a sedentary position, utilizing computer, keyboard, mouse and telephone the majority of the day; and work successfully in a team as well as independently. |

| Job Summary | This position will process and maintain health plan enrollments (medical, dental, and vision), flexible spending, life and AD&D plans, activate enrollments in SAP, Direct Bill and/or verify data entered through Employee Self Service. Process reconciliation reports, and adjust deductions as needed for all plans, and be familiar with IRS Section 125 to determine whether plan changes are permissible. Main assignment changes, for benefits eligibility and payroll processing. This position will also provide excellent second line of customer service concerning benefit questions on the automatic call distribution system and provide departmental support as needed (such as filing, creating folders, faxing, etc.). |
