$24.00-$27.00/hour + 3rd Shift Differential

Are you an experienced Plastic Injection Molding Operator who understands the molding process, recognizes common defects, and is someone coworkers already turn to for help?


Micron Products is looking for an experienced injection molding professional to join our team as a 3rd Shift Injection Molding Lead.


Hands-on plastic injection molding experience is required for this position. This is not an entry-level manufacturing or machine operator role.

You do not need previous Lead or Supervisor experience to be considered. If you have strong hands-on injection molding experience and are ready to take on more responsibility, train others, and help keep the shift running smoothly, this could be a great next step.


This is a hands-on working lead position. You will continue working directly with injection molding equipment and production while providing day-to-day support and direction to the team.


  • Work hands-on alongside Plastic Injection Molding Operators
  • Help coordinate employees, machines, and production priorities throughout the shift
  • Provide day-to-day direction and support to molding and assembly employees
  • Train and mentor new and existing operators
  • Monitor production, quality, scrap, and downtime
  • Identify common injection molding defects and production issues
  • Help troubleshoot production issues and escalate technical or processing problems when appropriate
  • Ensure inspections and required production documentation are completed accurately
  • Communicate production status, issues, and priorities during shift handoffs
  • Support quality standards and established manufacturing procedures
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized production environment

    • Qualifications


    Required:
  • 2+ years of hands-on plastic injection molding experience
  • Experience operating plastic injection molding machines in a production environment
  • Working knowledge of common injection molding defects and production issues
  • Ability to recognize when a molding process is not running correctly and communicate or escalate the issue
  • Experience completing quality inspections and production documentation
  • Strong communication, reliability, and teamwork skills
  • Ability and willingness to train, mentor, and provide direction to other employees
  • Ability to work 3rd shift, Monday-Friday, 11:00 PM-7:00 AM

    • Important: Candidates must have direct plastic injection molding experience. General machine operation or manufacturing experience alone does not meet the requirements for this position.

    You don't need to currently hold a Lead title.
