POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Treasury Operations is responsible for leading the organizations treasury function, ensuring effective management of cash, liquidity, banking relationships, and financial risk. This role plays a critical part in supporting the financial health and operational stability of the organization by optimizing cash flow, safeguarding assets, and aligning treasury strategies with broader organizational and patient care priorities.
The Director partners closely with Finance, Revenue Cycle, Supply Chain, and executive leadership to ensure the organization maintains strong liquidity, supports capital investments, and navigates the financial complexities of the healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily cash positioning, forecasting, and liquidity management across the organization.
- Ensure sufficient liquidity to support operations, payroll, capital projects, and strategic initiatives.
- Optimize cash flow through effective management of receivables, payables, and investment timing.
- Manage relationships with banking partners, financial institutions, and investment advisors.
- Oversee administration of lines of credit and other financing arrangements.
- Lead short and long term investment strategies in alignment with organizational policies and risk tolerance.
- Monitor and manage debt portfolios, including bond compliance and covenant reporting
- Partner with executive leadership on capital structure planning and financing strategies.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
- Oversee treasury controls, fraud prevention, and cash handling procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required. MBA or CPA/CFA preferred.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
EXPERIENCE: 8-10 years of progressive treasury or finance experience, preferably in healthcare or a complex, multi-entity organization. Strong knowledge of cash management, investments, debt structures, and financial and risk management. Experience working with banking institutions and capital markets. Proven leadership experience with the ability to influence across functions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Potential for exposure to blood borne pathogens along with infectious diseases. (Refers to Blood Bourne Pathogen requirement)
