POSITION SUMMARY

The Oracle Finance Systems Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight, administration, optimization, and operational support of AtlantiCares financial systems, including the Oracle Fusion (ERP) and Oracle EPM. This role serves as the primary liaison between Finance, Information Technology, operational departments, and system vendors to ensure financial systems are aligned with organizational goals, reporting requirements, and operational efficiency.

The Oracle Finance Systems Manager oversees key financial system functions including chart of accounts maintenance, department creation and configuration, subledger module close processes, budgeting system administration, financial reporting structures, and system governance. This position plays a critical role in maintaining data integrity, improving financial workflows, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and driving continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary administrator and functional lead for AtlantiCares Oracle Fusion and EPM systems.
  • Manage system configuration, maintenance, enhancements, upgrades, testing, and issue resolution.
  • Partner with IT and vendors to ensure system performance, reliability, and security.
  • Evaluate and implement process improvements and system optimization opportunities.
  • Support integrations between finance systems and other operational platforms.
  • Manage and maintain AtlantiCares chart of accounts structure to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
  • Create and maintain new departments, cost centers, entities, and reporting hierarchies within financial systems.
  • Ensure consistency and integrity of master financial data across platforms.
  • Coordinate and manage financial system activities associated with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
  • Monitor close process timelines and resolve system-related issues impacting financial close.
  • Support reconciliations and financial reporting accuracy during close cycles.
  • Support annual operating budget and forecasting processes through system setup, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain budget workflow structures, security roles, and reporting capabilities.
  • Assist Finance leadership with ad hoc reporting and system-generated analytics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting automation and financial insights.
  • Recommend and implement best practices to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
  • Partners with IT to ensure reporting between Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) are aligned and meet the needs of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field required.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: CPA, MBA, PMP, or related certification preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 5-7 years of experience in finance systems administration, financial operations or ERP/EPM management. Experience supporting ERP and EPM platforms in a complex organizational environment. Strong understanding of financial processes including general ledger, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Experience managing chart of accounts structures and financial master data. Knowledge of month-end close processes and subledger operations. Healthcare experience preferred.
