Job Description

The Test Position 1 is an integral part of our nursing team, providing direct patient care and support to our healthcare facility. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes and contribute to a positive and compassionate healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and monitor patient health, vital signs, and overall well-being.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
  • Provide emotional support and educate patients and their families on health conditions and self-care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and progress notes.
  • Perform basic nursing procedures, such as wound care, IV administration, and patient assessments.
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, following infection control protocols.
  • Respond promptly to patient calls and address their needs with compassion and professionalism.
  • Assist in patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing, as per state regulations.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an associate degree in nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong clinical skills and a comprehensive understanding of nursing practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work schedules and patient needs.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical software.
  • CPR certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with nursing advancements.
