Associates degree in Physical Therapy from an approved school and licensed in the State of New Jersey required. HSCPR required.
The Physical Therapy Assistant assists in providing physical therapy services upon referral or prescription of a physician according to established procedures and protocols. This position assists in the delivery of treatment programs for patients with programs individualized to developmental age in a safe and timely manner.
The Physical Therapy Assistant delivers care in a prompt and professional manner always maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and respect. This position works as part of the care team to meet the needs of the customer and to support departmental objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Associates degree in Physical Therapy from an approved school.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Licensed in the State of New Jersey. HSCPR required.
EXPERIENCE: Prior experience preferred but not required. Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents within position will be trained appropriately and then skill will be required for this position within 30-60 days from date of hire.
