Advised Commanding Officer of issues and presented solutions and implemented them by planning, organizing and coordinating personnel and materials for logistics, manpower, testing, manufacturing and Quality Assurance. Logistics frequently had to be scheduled up to a year in advance due to various countries customs requirements. Certified US customs Inspector.
  • Perform needs analysis, job and task analysis, design, development and implementation of formal training programs. As Ship Qualification Officer I was able reinforce and expand on the formal training provided.
  • Project Manager for $ million submarine modernization program for year. Coordinated with outside agencies in numerous projects to complete the modernization ahead of schedule with safety incidents, and under budget. Coordinated work of separate manufacturing shops, conducted walk through inspections of work and progress on critical path jobs with shop supervisors on a weekly basis and corrected and tracked deficiencies. Provided input on source selection based on contractor prior experience.
