  • To work as part of a team to deliver a professional and efficient secretarial support to Leadership Teams across TESCO UK & Ireland. 
  • \\r\\n

  • Remote secretarial support to Store Directors (Operations Area) / Group Personnel Managers (Human Resources Area) in the UK & Ireland of TESCO.  
  • \\r\\n
  • Email & calendar management, gathering & reporting of stores Operations/HR data, maintaining staff rotas, recording and updating attendance / holidays, expense / business mileage reimbursements, manage travel arrangements, co-coordinating IT requests, action requests for data collations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day to day administrative support including Email Management, Calendar Management, arranging travel and accommodation (MS Outlook)
  • \\r\\n
  • Document preparation and management, including formatting and editing letters, reports and all other correspondence (MS Word/ MS Excel)
  • \\r\\n
  • Filtering email and / or other correspondence as required, responding on behalf of the SDs and GPMs where appropriate (MS Outlook)
  • \\r\\n
  • Update attendance, holidays and other data for store personnel (MS Excel/ Mainframe)
  • \\r\\n
  • Assembling and analyzing information and preparing/compiling databases (MS Excel)
  • \\r\\n
  • Prepare detailed reports and other MIS within timelines, as and when required (MS Excel)
  • \\r\\n
  • Ensure accuracy of records on relevant systems (MS Excel/ Mainframe)
  • \\r\\n
  • Follow strong adherence to committed deadlines & established ways of working (Standard Operating Procedures)

  • Knowledge of policy and processes surrounding pensions – list of contacts supplied
  • \\r\\n
  • Maintains a daily log of important information to share with the department
  • \\r\\n
  • Support the department implementing training and development programs to ensure optimal company-wide performance
  • \\r\\n
  • Plans and assists conducting monthly new hire orientation programs
  • \\r\\n
  • Assists in development of new programs and services as they relate to HR
  • \\r\\n
  • Assists in development of Personnel Policies and Procedures
  • \\r\\n
  • Assists in implementing changes to effect continual improvement in services provided and complies with regulatory and legal requirements
  • \\r\\n
  • Was responsible for updating / sharing LWIs and FAQs when required in line with standard procedure
  • \\r\\n
  • 100% on production handling contacts within a service centre environment includes transactions, advice and guidance and hand off to service lines

  • To record contacts and accountables for the use of the Contact Management System

  • Actively respond to all request made by mentors/ supervisors which are required for the smooth functioning of the process
