Qualifications
Accounting –
• Experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance.
• Experience with all aspects of accounting to include: asset tracking; inventory preparation; accounts payable processing; accounts receivable billing; payroll processing; and tax preparation.
• Prepare financial reports and analysis to include: balance sheets; profit & loss statements; trial balances; cash flow statements; account reconciliations; and other specialized reporting as necessary.
• Complete month-end and year-end closing procedures and journal entries.
• Adept in budget and forecast development, evaluation, and management.
• Consistently meet deadlines and exceed goals while maintaining an attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong background in cost accounting.

Human Resources –
• Skilled in Human Resources processes to include: organizational need determination; candidate recruitment and selection; employee training; and safety awareness.
• Evaluate and make necessary revisions to Employee Policy and Procedure manuals, with regard to state and federal laws.
• Review and analyze employee benefits to include: health, life, k; and Workers’ Compensation – providing recommendations for improvements.
• Serve as liaison between employees and management, encouraging teamwork and facilitating dispute resolution.
• Handle Workers’ Compensation and unemployment claims and appeals, ensuring that company liability is minimized.
