Title : Collections Lead for Servicing
(Bi-lingual - Spanish)
Essential Functions:

Collect in accordance with all state and federal laws.
Make effective use of Prime Time calling periods.
Independently evaluate each loan and determine the best course of action for the customer in resolving the problem permanently
Independently negotiate with the customer on repayment schedules, deferrals, and write offs.
Meet monthly standards and expectations for potential losses, delinquency, charge-offs, repossessions, and clearing ratios.
Successfully manage all collection tools provided including, but not limited to, extensions, hardship modifications, reinstatements, and repair claims; providing the best business decision for the customer and company.
Advise HSBC about whether to pursue litigation on customer accounts or whether to write off debt as uncollectable. Maintain company BK accounts reporting and attorney follow up.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Special projects as requested.
Performs other duties as assigned. (ex. training, talk-offs, payroll & time, interviews)

Title : Asst. Branch Manager Collections

Additional responsibilities include:

- Manage a team of Managers and Collection Representatives through the effective use of department goals, measurement standards, quality standards, department metrics, management information systems and other performance measurement and monitoring techniques.
- Responsible for establishing, communicating and managing to department goals.
- Manage unusual, escalated or difficult issues either through direct personal action or referral as appropriate.
- Responsible for financial goals through effective interactions with customers, staff and other internal departments.
- Implement strategies for proactively managing customers from a retention perspective.
- Identify and implement new methods, procedures, processes and technologies that will improve operating efficiencies and expense reduction.
- Responsible and accountable to operating budget, salary and incentive plans for staff.
- Ensure compliance with all operating and regulatory policies.
- Develop MIS and technology-related strategies to increase customer satisfaction, facilitate improved efficiencies, and generate improvements in department's abilityto manage call volumes.
